  • to increase frequency of trips to campus;
  • to provide more late night bus services;
  • to implement additional express routes;
  • and to ensure that transit remains affordable.

We need accessible, affordable, and adequate transit in Vancouver. These are not ridiculous or outlandish requests. These are realistic and reasonable demands.

This is possible, but we need political and financial commitment to support transit from our provincial government. We need to work together. Let’s make it happen.

What’s the Problem?

Public transit is an integral part of student life in Vancouver. It is a critical service we depend on to ensure that we can get to and from work.

But public transit isn’t working.

Long lines, bus passups, and a system that practically shuts down after dark have become the standard level of transit service. This needs to change.
