I don’t see why this money can’t be invested in improving transit service immediately.
There are viable solutions to improving transit service. Some ideas we’ve received so far are:
Better Scheduling
“I live in Richmond, and because I have to work during the day, I take night classes. But, it seems that after 7pm, all the South-bound buses leave within the same 10 minutes. This means that, if I miss this 10 minute window, I have to wait another half an hour at the Bus Loop. If the buses left at more spread out times, I would be able to get home safer and sooner to do my homework.”

Organizational Priorities
“I’m not sure why there is so much talk about turnstiles. I’m not convinced that fare evasion is as big of a deal to warrant so much money being spent on turnstiles. I don’t see why this money can’t be invested in improving transit service immediately.”
